Rita (Yam) has found herself torn between keeping her husband, Peterson (JM de Guzman) out of trouble and helping the people of Talisay find justice in “Init sa Magdamag.”

She may not have agreed to testify against her family, but Rita still helped Tupe (Gerald Anderson) find evidence that would implicate Peterson and her mother-in-law, Olivia (Tetchie Agbayani) in the poisoning of the waters of Talisay.

However, the justice Rita wants seems impossible to find because Olivia got the best lawyer to twist the truth, leaving her helpless and feeling sorry for the people of Talisay.

On the other hand, while Tupe is trying his best to seek justice for him and his community, he still feels an overwhelming concern for Rita’s welfare.

Will Tupe find justice against Olivia and Peterson’s evils? Until when will Rita keep silent over the case? Will she lose another child because of this turmoil?
