PH Debuts at Netflix Anime Festival 2020 with ‘Trese’

The Philippines represent at the ongoing Netflix Anime Festival 2020 in Japan on Tuesday, October 27, 2020!

For the first time, an anime from the country makes it to the lineup and it’s titled “Trese.”

Here is the synopsis of the Filipino anime which made its mark at the festival:

Set in Manila where the mythical creatures of Philippine folklore live in hiding amongst humans, Alexandra Trese finds herself going head to head with a criminal underworld composed of malevolent supernatural beings.
