Miss Universe Philippines Partners with WWF, AHA! Learning Center, and the Philippine Fashion Coalition

Miss Universe Philippines goes beyond the beauty, the spotlight, and the glamor by striving to build a new Miss Universe that truly makes a difference to those in need.

Through its new online series, Ring Light, premiering on September 27, 2020, pageant fans will not only get a closer look at the road to the Miss Universe crown; they’ll also be able to extend a helping hand, with a portion of their subscription going to a cause that’s important to them.

Subscribers can choose one of three official partner beneficiaries of Miss Universe Philippines:

WWF-Philippines

Since 1997, WWF-Philippines has been working as a national organization of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) network. WWF-Philippines aims to improve Filipino lives by creating solutions to combat climate change.

Your subscription will go a long way to support farmers, fishermen, sustainable tourism, and the preservation of Philippine wildlife.

AHA! Learning Center

AHA! Learning Center’s mission is to solve education inequality through an ecosystem of support and opportunity for low-performing but high-potential public school students.

Since 2009, AHA! has serviced over 19,000 public school students. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, AHA! recently launched the Eskwelang Kapamilya Program, a free text-based Facebook school for public schools kids and their families.

By subscribing to Miss Universe Philippines: The Ring Light Series, a portion of your subscription will go to the AHA! Learning Center fund.

Philippine Fashion Coalition

The Philippine Fashion Council (PFC) is an alliance of all-Filipino fashion professionals including designers, manufacturers, retailers, brands, fashion show producers and event companies, fashion press and digital creators, models, model agencies, stylists, hair- and make-up artists, and the like.

For every P299 Ring Light subscription, P29 will go towards the funding of PFC projects.

About Miss Universe Philippines: The Ring Light Series
Composed of eight episodes, the series follows 50 aspiring Miss Universe Philippines candidates and takes viewers through their inspiring journey to the crown. Ring Light is the first pageant of its kind in the world as it gives pageant fans a closer look at what it truly takes to become a beauty queen with a purpose.
