Mario Maurer’s ‘Madam Pushy and I’ Premieres on GMA Network
Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer is set to captivate the heart of his Filipino fans once again and GMA Network starts airing the tagalized version of his rom-com series “Madam Pushy and I” this Monday at 10:45am. Mario’s leading lady in the said series is Thai sweetheart Ploy Laila Boonsayak.
Madam Pushy (Ploy Laila Boonsayak) is an ambitious talent agent and manager who searches for a new potential star as she goes against her rival Jeric (Chai Chatayodom Hiranyatithi) in the industry. Madam Pushy blames Jeric for her best friend's death and since then, vows to bring Jeric down.
With the help of her assistant, she finds Next (Mario) in the countryside, a young man who was adopted by a childless couple. Next agrees to work with Madam Pushy to build his finances to search for his biological parents.
