There’s Something Familiar in Taylor Swift’s ‘Cardigan’ Music Video
Taylor Swift zoomed on top of YouTube trending videos around the world including the Philippines with the release of the music video for her new single “Cardigan.” Just like Taylor’s previous releases, there is a lot to decode in the song and even on the music video which the Popstar conceptualized and directed herself.
Check it out and I’m sure you will be reminded by something:
Yup, the concept is kinda similar, or should we say, parallel to the music video of Harry Styles‘ hit “Falling” released earlier this year. And the tone and vibe are kind of the same. Not to mention that Swift dropped the MV right after One Direction released their 10th-anniversary video which was no. 1 yesterday but dropped to no. 2 today on YouTube’s trending list upon the release of “Cardigan” which snatched the no. 1 position in a blink of an eye.
@Harry_Styles : What am I now?
What am I now? What if I'm someone I don't want around?@taylorswift13 : When you are young they assume you know nothing.
