BTS Drops MV for ‘Stay Gold’ #StayGoldMV
On the same day BLACKPINK released their comeback music video “How You Like That,” BTS dropped the music video for their newest Japanese single “Stay Gold.”
The track was released last June 19 and it topped iTunes charts in 82 countries including USA, Brazil, United Kingdom, India, and France. The MV for “Stay Gold,” on the other hand, is said to be the fastest Japanese song/MV by a Korean act in history to reach 2 million likes on YouTube.
In the MV, BTS members RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V find themselves in dark places. When the song hit the chorus, the boys are seen having fun under the light. They are even transported to a utopia-ish setting afterwards.
“Stay Gold” is the lead single for BTS’ new Japanese album “Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey.”
