Romantic comedies “Crash Landing on You” and “When the Camellia Blooms” lead the nominees in the TV category of the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. Oscar-winner “Parasite” tops the nominees in the film category.

It’s interesting to note that the current highest-rated K-drama “The World of the Married” was snubbed in the Best Drama category because it’s an adaptation of a British series. The JTBC series, however, snatched a nomination in the Best Actress category courtesy of Kim Hee Ae (our favorite to win). It also scored a Best New Actress nomination courtesy of the beautiful Han So Hee.

In the Best Actor category, it’s a toss between fan favorites Hyun Bin (“Crash Landing on You”) and Park Seo-Joon (“Itaewon Class.”) However, Kang Ha Neul of “When the Camellia Blooms” could make an upset.
