‘The World of the Married’ Breaks Ratings Record of ‘Crash Landing on You’

JTBC’s The World of the Married (also known as “A World of Married Couple”) registered its highest rating so far last night, April 25, 2020. The hit drama scored an average nationwide rating of 22.91% beating the record of tvN’s Crash Landing on You which is 21.68% earlier this year. The said peak rating, however, fell less than 1% short for beating the highest-rated Korean drama of all time held by “Sky Castle” which is 23.78%

“The World of the Married,” the stylish remake of the British series “Doctor Foster”, is the new second placer among cable programs in South Korea when it comes to peak ratings. The hit K-drama also captured more than 55% of Viu’ers in Asia. With 6 episodes left and being the current “talk-of-the-town,” this show could possibly become the no. 1 highest-rated Korean drama of all time. The next episode airs on May 1 in South Korea and streams on Viu for other Asian countries including the Philippines 8 hours after the original broadcast.

  3. Really great show. Solid episodes, strong characters, thrilling twists and most importantly very realistic. Many people could relate to the realistic, flawed characters.

  4. All programs have better ratings nowadays since millions of people are home in a lockdown with not much to do as watch TV…I think is unfair to compare this drama with dramas played in normal times.

    the world of married couple is the best drama ever I’ve seen….the cast is so good in acting…they got my feeling…super duper good all in all
