UK Band New Rules is Coming to Manila

British band New Rules is coming to Manila this February for a series of mall shows produced by Star Events, dubbed “New Rules Live in Manila,” before headlining their sold-out tour in the UK and Ireland.

“We see you guys online all the time, so to get to come and see you in person is really special. We’re also gonna be playing lots of shows in Manila so hopefully we’ll see all of you guys there,” the group shared, expressing excitement over getting to perform for the Filipino crowd.

The mall shows, which will happen on Saturday (February 1) at the Ayala Malls Circuit and on Sunday (February 2) at Market! Market!, will also feature Filipino artist Inigo Pascual, whom they collaborated with for an acoustic session last year.

Their latest collab, a mash-up of Inigo’s original song “Options” and a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” was recently uploaded on New Rule’s YouTube channel.

Considered by the rising band as their “fourth Filipino member,” Inigo will also be a guest performer on the trio’s UK and Ireland tour—which includes shows in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle, and London, as the pop star continues to promote his music in other parts of the world.

New Rules is a fast-rising band from the UK that consists of songwriter-musicians Ryan Meaney, Alec McGarry, and Nathan Lambert. “New Rules Live in Manila” is produced by ABS-CBN’s Star Events, which seeks to deliver electrifying and unforgettable experiences to Kapamilyas via live shows, concerts and fan meets.
