In the story, Julia will give life to the role of Joy, a young girl who grew up in an orphanage and who desires nothing but to find a family who will love and accept her. Despite her sadness, Joy finds a new source of inspiration through the popular celebrity JP, to be portrayed by Iñigo.
How will Joy’s life change when she finally gets to meet JP in person with the help of a magical “lusis” (sparkler)? Will they be able to fulfill each other’s wish to feel and find the love of a family that they both long for?
Also part of “Wansapanataym Presents Wish Upon A Lusis” are Susan Africa, Susan Africa, Perla Bautista, Bobby Andrews, Miguel Vergara, Eunice Lagusad, Kazumi Porquez, Daisy Reyes, and Ana Roces. It is written by Joel Mercado and directed by Manny Palo and Rahyan Carlos.
The original story book for Filipino kids “Wansapanataym” is under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the group that created top-rating TV masterpieces such as “Walang Hanggan,” “Ina, Kapatid, Anak,” “Juan dela Cruz,” and “Ikaw Lamang.”
