‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ is Still the No. 1 Program in PH
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” is still the most-watched program in the country after beating both the premiere and finale of its new and old rival programs in national TV ratings.
The Coco Martin-starrer opened the month strongly as it hit a national TV rating of 37.5% last Monday (July 1), compared to “Sahaya” (18.7%), according to data from Kantar Media. The Kapamilya series also won last Friday (June 28) as it recorded 35.6%, or a 14.1-point lead against “Kara Mia’s” final episode (21.5%).
The series’ action-packed scenes keep viewers glued to their TV screens as Cardo (Coco) and his team continue to chase down Bungo (Baron Geisler), who was responsible for the death of Chikoy, a member of Task Force Agila.
But the police officers failed to seize Bungo in his hideout as he managed to escape successfully, giving him another chance to plot his plans of revenge for his brother. Will Bungo and Cardo finally face each other?
Don’t miss the action and lessons in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” weeknights on ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN HD (SkyCable ch 167).
