KZ Tandigan Sings ‘Real Gone’ On Singer 2018 Episode 8

It’s movies night on episode 8 of the hit Chinese reality singing competition “Singer 2018” and our very own KZ Tandingan takes on a country/rock song called “Real Gone” from the movie “Cars.”

Jessie J was supposed to sing Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie “Titanic” but the British pop star was reportedly absent during the rehearsals and taping because she was ill. Coincidentally, today is Lantern Festival in China so the eight episode of “Singer 2018” is going to be pre-empted and it will air next Friday instead.

Wang Feng got the no. 1 position this week followed by Tengger in second place. Hua Chenyu was third while new challenger Henry Huo debuted at no. 4. KZ was fifth placer while Angela Chang was ranked the lowest at no. 6.

According to reports, no one was eliminated during this round because of Jessie J’s absence; however in the coming 9th episode, two contestants are set to get the boot.

Apparently, new challenger Henry Huo (who, of course sang in Mandarin) beats KZ Tandingan because of the people’s votes:

  1. It is all about song choice… but it is all water under the bridge now. Poor song choice except for Rolling in the deep, can lead to K Z ‘s elimination.
