Miss Philippines Rachel Peters donned a Sarimanok costume during the national costume competition in Miss Universe 2017 on Saturday night, November 18 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas Nevada.
Rachel describes her costume as “a modern twist of the legendary Sarimanok. A symbol of good fortune for the Maranao people.”
The coronationa night of the 66th Miss Universe pageant is happening at the AXIS at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas on November 26 (November 27 in the morning in Manila).
