KBP Golden Dove Awards Best Public Service Program host Karen Davila will meet the man behind “Be A Giver 943” (BAG943), an online store that gives a free bag to an underprivileged student for every bag they get to sell, on this Tuesday’s (June 28) episode of the award-winning ABS-CBN current affairs program “My Puhunan.”

Josh Mahinay was a poor boy from Zamboanga who had to work hard to earn a scholarship from elementary to college. A Political Science graduate, he would give up law school to provide for his ailing mother through cleaning hotel rooms in Las Vegas, Nevada as an Overseas Filipino Worker. These hardships pushed him towards success, after which he established “Be A Giver 943,” believing that paying it forward to underprivileged students like him would help inspire the children to strive for their dreams and goals in life.
