“With Bilang Pilipino, we can expect a data-driven coverage across broadcast and social media channels of Kapatid network. The coverage will be presented by the same news organization that brought the historic, eye-opening COMELEC -sponsored presidential debate in Cebu City. People can expect the same,” Valdez said.

TV5 recently signed a partnership with the Philippine Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) which will do a parallel counting of the votes together with Stratbase, a full service public affairs and policy research consultancy group headed by noted political analyst Professor Dindo Manhit, Former Chair of the Political Science Department and a Senior Fellow of the La Salle Institute of Governance (LSIG) at the De La Salle University. Beginning May 9, 2016, starting at 5:00AM to May 10, 2016, 9:00AM, TV5 will have an uninterrupted coverage of the nation-wide elections as its corps of reporters and field correspondents throughout the country will be reporting from all points of the archipelago in the 28 hours of Bilang Pilipino’s special coverage.
