Remember the tweets of Rhap Salazar last week which became controversial?
I hate seeing artists lip syncing on TV.
‘Yung iba nagkaka-album pa. – @rhapsalazar
The young singer was bashed in social media because of the said tweets. Some die hard fans JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre) speculated that Rhap is pertaining to their idols because the time the young singer posted his tweets was after the love team performed on ASAP 20.
Whoa! The issue's getting massive. Chill people. It's just a tweet 😉

Meanwhile, three of the country’s music icons shared their two cents regarding the issue in an interview by ABS-CBN News:
Vice Ganda said “Do not hate people…why will you hate people na wala namang nilalabag na batas? Hindi naman inapakan ang karapatang pantao mo.”
Lea Salonga, who admitted that she had done lip syncing in the past, said “Minsan nagkakasakit din kaya wala kang magagawa. You can’t cancel the gig kahit one song lang…sana itulak din the people who can actually sing.”
Gary Valenciano said “I think he [Rhap] is a reflection of the frustrations of other singers na nag-aabang lang sa tabi at naghihintay na mabigyan din ng same exposure and support.”
How about you, do you think there’s something wrong with artists who lip sync and do you think real singers are being neglected in the industry? What do you think?
