To: THE WEDDINGS TV BRIDAL FAIR TEAM
This is to show how disappointed we are with how the bridal fair turned out. Please take note of the following points for your improvement.
PRE-BRIDAL FAIR:
* It seemed that you were so disorganized. One time, we received an email regarding forms to be submitted and a specific amount to be deposited for a permit you must secure plus the deadline. Another email was sent on the same day with a different amount to be deposited and a different date of deadline. This was very confusing but we let it slide the first time.
* I emailed Zion and Jing on March 17th, 2015 asking who is the bridal fair’s official exhibit contractor but got no response. So I assumed that there are no contractor available. Only to find out during ingress that Exist is your contractor.
* I received a call from one of your staffs three (3) days before the bridal fair asking me if I already paid my final payment for the fair. Your accounting staff must have not took note that I already paid in full way back 19th of December 2014, because we are one of the sponsors. I really don’t understand what happened there but this is a major red flag.
* Marketing aspect of the fair is a MAJOR FAIL despite being a TV show. If only you observed your competitors (other fair organizers) beforehand , this would not have happened. No billboards on major roads, no tarpaulin at the entrance of SMX and around the vicinity, no stickers on buses or other vehicles were visible prior and during the bridal fair. Most clients really did not know that there was a bridal fair happening last April 11-12. It seemed that you were so confident that you are a TV show and relied solely from the exhibitor’s posting to invite soon-to-weds.
INGRESS:
* You gave us an ingress ID in exchange of 1 (one) valid ID and have it returned after ingress. Only to find out that it is still the same ID that you will give us for the bridal fair proper. This is very UNHYGIENIC, UNSANITARY and a MAJOR FOUL. Those ID lace already had sweat stuck in it and you let us used it during the fair proper without knowing who used it the day before.
* Registration Area / Organizer’s booth is not really visible. They are located only at the side of the roll-up door 1. Our booth is located on hall 2 and our entrance must be at the roll-up door 2, so there must also be organizer’s booth present at hall 2.
BRIDAL FAIR PROPER:
* Each 2m x 3m booth were priced at Php 23,000. But we learned from another exhibitor that you sold two (2) 2m x 3m booth for the price of Php 25,000 on the spot. This is sooooo unfair for us.
* There were no visible staffs or organizers roaming around to check what was happening during the fair proper. No one to tell our complaints unless we go directly to the organizer’s booth at the back of SMX.
* We found out from one of your proud staff that only 800 couples pre-registered online. If only the exhibitors were informed ahead of time, we could have set our expectations low. We NEVER experienced this from other organizers. They usually have more than 20,000+ pre-registered guests.
* The stage and all events happening on the stage is a major CONFLICT for suppliers. The attention of soon-to-weds were split, whether they will roam around and scout their suppliers, OR focus on what’s happening on-stage. The series of events on-stage were so distracting even for suppliers, especially the part where there were live performances. Your whole team was so good with production but worse in wedding events like this.
* The whole bridal fair seemed like an extension of Chiz & Heart wedding, which should have not been the case since the focus should mainly be the exhibitors showcasing their line of business.
It was also very visible that very little number of soon-to-weds were going in. There was even almost an hour when no clients were roaming around, basically the reason why the venue was so cold. In short, “NILALANGAW ANG BRIDAL FAIR NINYO”.
* Very little number to No more soon-to-weds were visible at 6:45PM both on Saturday and Sunday! Basically the reason why suppliers/exhibitors decided to pack up early and proceed with egress.
EGRESS:
* We were asking for ID’s for our egress contractor but your team told us that the ID’s that we have are also the ones to be used. And everyone was like, “WHAAAATTTT???” FYI: Ingress & Egress contractors are different from the people manning the booth. And yes, you don’t know anything about this yet again!
* The roll up door was not open even at 8:30PM. How do you think exhibitors will be able to egress???
EXHIBITOR FEEDBACK:
* We normally are able to have 20 to 30+ couples book us on site from other bridal fair organizers. And this is the first time that we were not event able to book 10. The returns of the fair is VERY UNSATISFACTORY considering that you have one of the most pricey fee.
* The whole bridal fair experience, based on an exhibitors point view, is NOT successful. Thank you for your incompetence.
STAFF VISIBILITY: 2/10
BRIDAL FAIR TURNOUT: 1/10
ORGANIZATION: 0/10
Will I join Weddings TV bridal fair again? Hell, NO!
Will you promote Wedding TV bridal fair to other exhibitors interested to join? NO
So now, the question is, “How will you be able to makeup for all these incompetence, all the stress and failure you caused your exhibitors???”
