ABS-CBN Releases Statement of Apology for ‘Papal Visit’ Statement Shirt
The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), on Monday morning (December 29), warned the public of an erroneous statement shirt for the Papal Visit bearing the phrase “No Race, No Religion.” The quote being used for the statement shirt was being attributed to Pope Francis and was available for pre-orders online for P250 per piece.
The CBCP posted the warning on their official Twitter account:

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN has released a statement of apology for previously selling the particular statement shirt that offended the CBCP.
The statement goes:
ABS-CBN assures the public that there was no intent to deceive or mislead the public through the commemorative shirts that carry statements inspired by Pope Francis’ message of love, openness, and humility.
We apologize if a particular statement shirt offended anyone. We are pulling out the item from our online shop and all retail partner stores.
–Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN spokesman
Sophists talaga followers ng abs-!!! dambel…
Kritiko is right. The statement implies that Christianity is never a religion but a relationship. And the love that have been lavished on the cross is for all people regardless of their race. No race, No religion is ever out of the grace of God.
Froglet, you ignoramus. Catholic teachings and practices are based on TWO things: Scriptures (Bible) and Tradition. If it’s NOT in Scriptures, then it’s in Tradition, and vice-versa, Wow, triple stoooooooooopid, Don’t flaunt your lack of knowledge…it’s downright embarrassing. Bwahahaha!

Froglet, you’re a moron. What religion believes it has exclusivity to the truth. Just shut up. This is about a shirt, not religion. Stoooopid!
Does the catholics even know what they’re doing is against the the Law of the scriptures?
na alarm ang cbcp
alam nila may mali din sila
sa mga turo at pangaral nila
I think what the statement implies is that Christianity is never a religion but a relationship. Jesus is not my religion, He is my Lord and my Savior. And the love that have been lavished on the cross is for all people regardless of their race. No race, No religion is ever out of the grace of God.
gusto kasing magpasikat ang mga kapalmilyakis…kasi yan napala ninyo
as if naman tama lahat tinituro ng simbahang catholic …just wondering
