Broadcast journalist Ted Failon looks into complaints against government offices that are allegedly mismanaging the country’s infrastructure budget in “Failon Ngayon” this Saturday (Mar 8).
According to critics, some politicians have been allocating funds for electric posts, bridges, and roads that are unnecessarily repaired every year.
Ted also puts the P10 billion pork barrel scam in context by checking if there had already been popular news personalities and influential lawmakers who were convicted over anomalous projects.
The episode also gives an update on the ongoing demolition of illegal resorts in Boracay, including the Boracay West Cove. “Failon Ngayon” featured the illegal operation of resorts in Boracay in 2012 and eventually urged authorities to take action on the issue.
