Broadcast journalist Ted Failon probes if persons placed under Department of Justice’s Witness Protection Program that protects them from reprisals are really in good hands in “Failon Ngayon” this Saturday (September 7).

Ted looks back and checks on the conditions of controversial whistleblowers Clarissa Ocampo, George Rabusa, Heidi Mendoza, Vidal Doble and Jun Lozada. Among them, Lozada has been vocal in expressing his disappointment with the government as he got charged and earned lawsuits after exposing anomalies.

Apart from the Witness Protection Program, Ted investigates complaints about undisciplined tricycle drivers, who allegedly contribute delays and road accidents.

The House Bill 1662 that seeks to criminalize hoarding of Philippine coins will also be tackled in the episode. The bill has elicited criticisms as many people insist that it also prohibits them to be provident and thrifty.
