‘A Moment in Time’ Grosses P57.1-M in 2 Weeks
A Moment in Time maintained the no. 2 position for the February 20-24, 2013 time frame, its second week of screening. Hollywood action flick A Good Day to Die Hard still ruled the local box office race last weekend with a total estimated gross of P71.58 million. Both films opened on February 13, a day before Valentine’s.
Beautiful Creatures debuted at no. 3 with P11.77 million 5-day gross. Oscar-winning “Lincoln” opened at no. 4 with P4.95 million for the same period.
Meanwhile, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is still the lone movie to have surpassed the P100-million mark for 2013 so far. The fairy tale inspired flick has already raked in P110.67 million in 5 weeks.
Two more Hollywood flicks premiered last weekend but in limited theaters only–Oliver Platt‘s Savages at no. 10 and the Oscar-winning Anna Karenina at no. 12.
