One of the heavy favorites, Warrathaya Wongchayaporn of Thailand, won the Best in National Costume award in the ongoing Miss Earth 2012 pageant.

Placing second (silver) to Thailand in the National Costume competition is South Africa while Malaysia finished third (bronze).

The Miss Earth 2012 National Costume competition happened on Monday, November 19, during the “Moment for the Earth Auction Night” which was held at the Best Western F1 Premier Hotel.
