After a tension-filled battle to the grand finals between the Danger 4 and the Tropang Kick-out, Mark Neumann and Shaira Mae emerged victorious for the remaining two slots in the grand finals of "Artista Academy."

Since the first four slots in the Final 6 were already awarded to Akihiro Sato, Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert and Chanel Morales, the Danger 4 (Benjo Leoncio, Mark Neumann, Malak So Shidfat and Shaira Mae) and the Tropang Kick-Out (Chris Leonardo, Jon Orlando, Brent Manzano, Marvelous Alejo, Nicole Estrada, Stephanie Rowe) battled for the two remaining slots on Saturday’s big face-off.

Chris Leonardo, Mark Neumann, Malak So Shidfat, Shaira Mae, and Nicole Estrada each performed a dance routine. On the other hand, Brent Manzano, Benjo Leoncio, Jon Orlando, Marvelous Alejo, and Stephanie Rowe each performed a song number. A video featuring all ten scholars taking an acting test was also shown on the screen.

Among the boys, some of the judges singled out Brent Manzano‘s impressive showing in both singing and acting. Among the girls, Shaira Mae got the recognition for her alluring dance performance.

But after the text votes from viewers and the grades from the teachers were combined, it was revealed that Mark Neumann and Shaira Mae will join Akihiro Sato, Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert and Chanel Morales in the grand finals where P20 million combined total prizes and the chance to become the next lead stars of TV5 are at stake.

“Artista Academy” airs Saturdays at 8:30pm and weeknights at 9:00pm on TV5.
