11-year old Filipino-Canadian Darren Espanto, who is one of the Top 6 finalists on Canada's "The Next Star," is gearing up for the show's finale.

The singing powerhouse from Calgary is vying against 5 other contestants for the jam-packed live finale on September 23 at Canada’s Wonderland to be aired on YTV. In the episodes leading up to the finale, Darren worked on perfecting his sound, style and moves all in an effort to become a superstar!

In this past Monday’s episode, Darren released the music video for his original single entitled “Gotta Give A Little Extra”.

The single was produced by The Rezza Brothers, two Italian brothers from Woodbridge, Canada who have burst on the scene in the last three years crafting sounds for likes of Obie Trice, Bone Crusher and Reema Major.
