23-year-old Queenierich (often misspelled as “Quenerich”) Rehman is now in Ordos, Mongolia, to compete for Miss World, the only grand slam title elusive to Pinay beauties. With little time to prepare, much is expected from our MWP queen, specially that her predecessor Gwendolyn Ruais bagged the First Princess crown in last year’s competition.

Furthermore, the 62nd Miss World is being held in Inner Mongolia, China. There’s a political tension between Philippines and China so Queenie does not only need to put her best foot forward but also to be on her best behavior.

This year, Miss World introduces another component in its judging system in determining the winner – the Multimedia Award. Each contestant will have a section in the Miss World website where they will be able to update their supporters with their own photo and video uploads. Contestants will be judged on how they present their web section. The best presentation will earn fast-track points on the Miss World scoreboard.
