‘One True Love’ Hooks More Viewers, Beats ‘Dahil Sa Pag-ibig’
Based on overnight household data recorded in Mega Manila from June 11 to 15, One True Love scored 38.4 share points, ahead of ABS-CBN’s Dahil Sa Pag-ibig’s 35.2 points and TV5’s Runaway’s 10 points. Mega Manila comprises 58 percent of total television households nationwide.
Viewers instantly fell in love with the characters of star-crossed lovers Tisoy and Elize played by Alden Richards and Louise delos Reyes. One True Love introduces Alden and Louise in their first starring roles on primetime, together with newest Kapuso Agot Isidro, Raymond Bagatsing, and Jean Garcia.
Proof to the overwhelming success and immense fame of Alden and Louise’s loveteam were the thousands of screaming fans present during their recent mall show and campus tour in Cagayan de Oro and Bukidnon last June 17 and June 18.
Pandemonium broke out when Alden and Louise showed up and took the centerstage. The mere mention of their names drew ear-deafening screams and cheers from the audience who chanted “Tisoy” and “Elize”, Alden and Louise’s character names in the program. “Nakakataba ng puso ang naging mainit na pagtanggap sa aming lahat at masayang-masaya kami na tinatangkilik nila ang One True Love,” Alden said.
The drama series is expected to set even higher ratings in the coming days especially when Tisoy (Alden) and Elize (Louise) start hanging out together and begin their special friendship. Troy (Lucho Ayala), on the other hand, despises the growing closeness between Tisoy and Elize, so he pressures Carlos (Raymond) to stop Elize from seeing Tisoy.
Will Elize follow her father’s orders and end her ties with Tisoy? What will happen if Ellen (Jean Garcia) discovers the connection between Tisoy and Carlos? Will Tisoy eventually give up on Elize?

GMA-7 OWNERS’ NET WORTH. Kung susumahin, umaabot sa $775M ang pinagsama-samang yaman ng tatlong may-ari ng Kapuso network.
Si Gilberto Duavit ang may pinakamalaking net worth sa tatlo na umabot sa $270M. Mas malaki ito sa net worth na $190M ng 77-year-old politician-turned-media tycoon noong nakaraang taon.
Tumaas din ang net worth ni Menardo Jimenez mula $185M noong 2011 sa $265M ngayong 2012.

Tulad lang yan ng Elmo-Julie Ann love team. Kung talagang sikat ang mga yan, mag movies na. Tulad nina Aljur at Kris noon, sikat daw. Nang ginawan ng movie (Nandito Ako), kasi sikat daw, ayun pinaka flop sa box office, 5 million lang nationwide. Kaya nga dapat may movies na ang mga yan yan. May susugal ba naman? Tsk tsk.

it is already expected that a pilot week should pose a strong rating. ‘nang dahil sa pag-ibig’ is on-tv for more than 5 months and there’s already that ‘sawa’ factor. but it’s too premature to say that ‘one true love’ is a hit. for example, luna blanca won over ‘princess and i’ on their pilot week but now, ‘princess and i’ is widening back their lead. let’s see if if ‘one true love’ could keep their high ratings in the coming weeks. let’s cross our fingers! peace.

ito nagrerate… parang di naman….me show ba na ganito…parang wala…. for sure bayad naman ang agb nielsen nito… kaya haist mataas ang rating!

And its just a week. Usually new shows post much higher ratings due to people are just curious because its new. And to say that they fell in love with the characters ehem! Part ba eto ng PR ng new show hahaha… And come on. Do we still trust does rating providers. The are biased to the network that pay them more. I remember years ago. That this other network have this phenomenon of a show. Every was talking about it. But this other network claims that there ratings was better. And this rating providing firm supported them. What gives? Wrong move from them.
‘Dahil Sa Pag Ibig’ is a homerun for me! The storyline is unique and quite unexpected. However, I would have loved to see the EchoTin Hermosales tandem together again on tv – it was love at first sight when I first saw them together more than a decade ago<3<3<3
