15. “Somebody That I Used To Know” – Elise Testone and Phillip Phillips – Elise and Phillip showcased vocal chemistry with this song that made it the second best duet of the season.
14. “We’ve Got Tonight” – Phillip Phillips – I believe “Home” is PP’s most overrated performance this season. This one’s way better.
13. “U Got It Bad” – Phillip Phillips – I think this is the performance that won for PP a humongous fan base of teenage girls.
12. “Wind Beneath My Wings” – Skylar Laine – This performance gave Skylar an edge showing that she can also do pop ballads like Hollie.
11. “Volcano” – Phillip Phillips – I’ve said it before and I will say it again. This is PP’s best of the season, even better that any of his finale performances.

American Idol is a business. They are looking for the full package, someone who can top iTunes. Alas, Phillip is no. 1 on iTunes!
Sometimes people don’t understand what life is all about. Winning a competition because a drum corps made the winner sound good, and because his followers are teenage girls, and their mothers, is really not winning anything, or at least a singing competition.. His voice was not judged, but rather his appearance. Jessica’s voice, however, is a gift from God. She has excelled beyond our imagination. She is destined to be a part of our lives forever. Thank you Lord for giving us Jessica Sanchez..
