Juan Manuel Marquez to Manny Pacquiao: ‘This Time It’s Personal’

Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico is seeking vindication in his third bout with Manny Pacquiao next week.

On November 12, Marquez and Pacquiao will face once again at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Their first bout was in 2004 which was a draw. Their second bout was in 2008 when Marquez lost his WBC super-featherweight title to the People’s Champ in a controversial split decision.

Juan Manuel Marquez believes he won in the two previous bouts against Pacquiao and was robbed of the title that this upcoming bout next week is really personal and a great opportunity for him to vindicate himself. It’s also a very important fight for Marquez because Pacman’s WBO welterweight title will be on the line.

Juan Manuel Marquez has a career record of 53-5-1 with 39 knockouts.
