‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ Celebration in New York City on 50th Anniversary of Film’s Release

Famed Audrey Hepburn Character (with Black Dress, Cigarette Holder and Sunglasses) Look-alike Contest to Take Place in Manhattan.

Audrey Hepburn Lookalikes in black party dresses with cigarette holders, cocktails and vintage sunglasses will gather with New York film aficionados and fans in the fashionable East 70’s/Upper East Side location of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” for a free celebration on the anniversary of the legendary film’s release by Paramount Pictures on October 5, 1961, Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2pm, Nino’s Restaurant, 1354 First Avenue (73rd St.), New York City. Llord’s Cordials will be providing prizes for the Look-alike contest winners and will supply “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” themed cocktails for the event.

The free anniversary celebration will take place just blocks away from Holly Golightly’s East 71st Street townhouse apartment, the Plaza Hotel, the flagship location of Tiffany’s on Fifth Avenue and other neighborhood landmarks. The iconic New York movie based on the classic novella by Truman Capote features Party Girl Holly Golightly, played by Hepburn in her signature role as the ultimate social climber aspiring to be part of the Manhattan elite.
