Joshua Pineda Wins Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World at 2011 WCOPA

Kapuso child star Joshua Pineda bagged the prestigious Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World for the Philippines in the recently concluded 2011 World Championships of the Performing Arts (WCOPA).

The young crooner won the World Championships of the Performing Arts (WCOPA) Junior Grand Vocal Champion of the World 2011 award and later won for the Philippines the prestigious Junior Grand Performer of the World, the over-all grand champion for junior division.

Pineda is best known for his role as Chito, Michael V.‘s son, in GMA-7’s situational comedy Pepito Manaloto.

South Africa’s Hanro Janse Van Rensburg, on the other hand, won the Senior Grand Performer of the World during the 15th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts™, which took place on July 15 to 24, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

Other winner from the Philippines includes Talentadong Pinoy‘s 2010 winner Joshua Davis, a.k.a. “Yoyo Tricker.” He bagged the Junior Variety Grand Champion and vied with fellow Pinoy Joshua Pineda for the Junior Grand Performer of the World award.
