The sexy comedy movie--"Temptation Island"--managed to gross P27.65 million on its first 5 days despite the presence of "Transformers 3" which is killing at the local box-office.

For the opening weekend of July 6 to 10, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” ruled Philippine box-office for the second week with a weekend haul of P99.14 million. The Shia LaBeouf-starrer has now accumulated a two-weeks total of P341.92 million making it the first movie in the Philippines for 2011 to cross the P200 and P300 million mark.

Debuting at no. 2 last weekend is local movie “Temptation Island” starring Marian Rivera, Solenn Heusaff, Lovi Poe, Heart Evangelista and Rufa Mae Quinto. The Regal Films and GMA Films joint production has managed to earn P27.65 million in 5 days despite the presence of the monster hit movie “Transformers 3.”

Star Cinema’s “Forever and a Day,” on the other hand, completed its run with a total box-office gross of P44.73 million. It has outgrossed the film “My Valentine Girls” by just P50,000 more or less.
