Robin Padilla confirmed earlier reports that a Valentine's movie pairing him with Marian Rivera is in the works.

In a video interview on the Philippine Star’s website, Robin Padilla confirmed the reports regarding his upcoming team up with GMA-7’s Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera. He revealed that he has already met with Regal matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde regarding the exciting project.

“Nag-meeting na kami ni Mother, maganda ang konsepto..matindi. Humanda ka Marian Rivera…magte-training ka sa akin!,” he said.

“Idol,” who has been with GMA-7 for around three years before has never had an opportunity to work with what he considers the “Queen” of Kapuso Network.

“Si Marian ang masasabi nating reyna ng GMA. Isang malaking karangalan. Ang ganda niya! Ano pa bang hihingin ng isang leading man? Wala nang hihilingin ang isang leading man,” he said.

Regal Films is reportedly eyeing the Valentine’s 2012 season for the release schedule of the Robin Padilla-Marian Rivera movie.
