Chris Brown’s ‘F.A.M.E.’ Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200
F.A.M.E. is the fourth studio album by R&B artist Chris Brown, released March 18, 2011. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 270,000 copies in its first week.
But of course, Brown’s nude photo has nothing to do with the success of the album. “F.A.M.E.” was expected to top the Billboard 200 chart because of the good performance of its first single “Yeah 3x” and second single “Look at Me Now.” This is Brown’s first no. 1 album.
Jennifer Hudson‘s sophomore album “I Remember Me,” another debut, comes in at No. 2 with 165,000, while last week’s No. 1, Adele’s “21,” slips to No. 3 with 96,000.
