‘Magic Palayok’ Premieres Nationwide with 21.7%, Leading All GMA-7 Programs

The new Kapuso primetime fantaserye bested its rival in Kantar Media's national TV ratings and debuted as the most-watched GMA program yesterday.

“Magic Palayok” starring Geoff Eigenmann and Carla Abellana premiered last night, February 28, with a very high rating of 21.7% nationwide beating rival program “The Price is Right” which only got 13.7%

The new Kapuso fantaserye took the timeslot of “Bantatay.” It’s pilot rating is good for no. 5 position in the nationwide race and best-performing GMA program for the whole day.

Here is the Top 20 programs and comparative TV ratings for February 28, 2011 based on the overnight survey of Kantar Media among National households:
