TV5’s First Dramaserye ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa’ Premieres this February 7

As its first venture into the genre of primetime drama, TV5 presents no less than a powerhouse cast led by the Queen of Philippine Movies, Ms. Susan Roces. She will give life to the role of the strong-willed Helena See, a woman driven by her motivation to recover from her painful past and reclaim what is rightfully hers.
The first TV series to delve into the strict traditions of the Chinese-Filipino or Chinoy culture, Babaeng Hampaslupa is a stirring drama that revolves around the conflict between two families and the complications it brings to the lives of the people around them.
Philippine showbiz’s icon of timeless beauty Alice Dixson makes her TV comeback in Babaeng Hampaslupa as Diana, a simple worker who fell in love and gave birth to the sole heiress of the Wong family, a rich Chinoy clan.
New primetime drama princess Alex Gonzaga takes on the biggest challenge in her career as she plays the role of Grace, Diana’s daughter who was abducted as a child and raised by a poor couple in the slums of Tondo. How will Helena See affect the lives of Diana and Grace? Will she be her ally or will she be the cause of their misery?
The three female leads of Babaeng Hampaslupa are joined by a stellar cast led by Jay Manalo, Bing Loyzaga, Freddie Webb, Christian Vasquez, Karel Marquez, Celso Ad Castillo, Vandolph, Jenny Quizon, Susan Africa, Julio Diaz, Dolphy Jr, Anne Villegas, and Sheila Marie Rodriguez.
