ANC Partners with Giz for Documentary on Land Use in the Philippines
ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, has tied up with German group Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, for the production of a documentary that will raise awareness on sustainable and inclusive land use in the context of the Philippines.
The documentary, which will be funded by GIZ, and produced by ANC, will give viewers a comprehensive view of our “land use” history, the current situation, and its impact on our future.
ANC Managing Director and ABS-CBN Head for News and Current Affairs Ging Reyes recently signed a memorandum of agreement with Dr. Walter Salzer, the Director and Principal Advisor of the Environment and Rural Development Program of GIZ, formalized the partnership.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany. GIZ works worldwide in the fields of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education. GIZ provides viable, forward-looking solutions for political, economic, ecological and social development in a globalised world. Sometimes working under difficult conditions, GIZ promotes complex reforms and change processes. Its corporate objective is to improve people’s lives on a sustainable basis.
Watch out for GIZ’s documentary on the national land use in the Philippines this March on the country’s only 24/7 cable news channel, ANC on SkyCable channel 27.
