A nine-year old girl in green stood out among the throngs of fans who flocked to SM Valenzuela, one of the legs of ABS-CBN’s Bida KApamilya grand fans day, last Saturday (October 23).

Marie (not her real name), an avid Kapamilya, is not your ordinary little girl. She is a ‘special’ child. Her unusual case did not hinder her excitement from beaming out. In fact, hers was the most noticeable among the crowd.

The crowd was excited to see their favorite ABS-CBN stars in person. And it was through the newly launched “Bida KApamailya” grand fans day in Manila, Marilao Valenzuela and Davao that their dream was realized.

Being the network’s core inspiration, the audience deserves a special treatment from the station that has always been moved with their unique lives and stories.

ABS-CBN stars who graced the occasion whole-heartedly performed in front of thousands of excited fans: from the new cast of “Mara Clara,” “Noah,” “Kokey” to the cast of “Imortal” and “Magkaribal,” from the hosts of “Pilipinas Win na Win” to the mainstays of “Showtime” and “ASAP XV.”

“Masarap po sa pakiramdam na makapag-pasaya ng mga tao. Utang po talaga namin sa kanila yung success ng bawat programa at ng bawat artista,” Kathryn Bernardo expressed, the new Mara in the upcoming ‘Mara Clara’ primetime series, after her song number in SM Valenzuela

“Nakakatuwa po na ‘di po tumitigil sa panonood ng ABS-CBN yung mga tao. ‘Pag may natapos na palabas at may kasunod na bago, tuluy-tuloy po yung suporta nila kaya dapat lang po pasayahin po talaga sila,” Zaijian Jaranilla shared, ‘Noah’ star.

Celebrities who also shared their quality time with the fans were Jhong Hilario who drew shrieks and screams from the crowd with his wild dance moves, Mylene Dizon, Julia Montes, Albie Casino, John Manalo, Chokoleit, Gab Valenciano, Mickey Perz,, Jayson Gainza, Melissa Ricks, Rico Blanco, Nina Dolino, Janelle, Rhap Salazar, Nina Jose, the 20 Star Power finalists, Melissa Ricks, Jake Roxas, Boyz Unlimited, Carol Banawa, Nonoy Zuniga, Marco Sison and Rey Valera.

Part of making the Kapamilyas happy, the celebrities personally gave those who attended the event giveaways and prizes that carved indelible smiles in everyone’s faces.

ABS-CBN’s Bida KApamilya was launched to make every Kapamilya feel like a ‘bida.’ Even in the shows they produce, ABS-CBN makes sure that the life of every audience member is mirrored.
