After the bloody hostage-taking situation in Qurino Grandstand that resulted in the death of nine tourists and the hostage taker, broadcast journalist Ted Failon probes if police authorities bungled during the bus siege as people begin to point guilty fingers to the police.

Dismissed police officer Rolando Mendoza, held more than 20 tourists captive on August 23 in a hostage crisis which lasted for around twelve hours. Why did the police fail to peacefully negotiate with the suspect? Does the Assault Team who handled the situation lack the equipment and knowledge on crisis-situation handling?
