In an exclusive backstage interview, Melai and Jason or “Melason” confessed that despite their newfound stardom, they still get starstruck whenever they meet their showbiz idols. Just last week in The Buzz, the two were treated with a meet-and-greet session with Jason’s idol, Robin Padilla. Incidentally, this Sunday, they will be meeting with Robin’s special onscreen partner, Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
“Sobrang excited na po akong maka-bonding po si Ms. Sharon. Nakita ko na po siya sa PBB pero hindi po kami masyadong nagkasama. Nanonood po ako ng Sharon noon pa. Gusto ko talaga si Ms. Sharon kasi grabe talaga siya makatawa. Natatawa din ako,” said Melai.
Jason, on the other hand, admitted that he was starstrucked when he first saw Sharon. “Nung pagpasok niya sa Big Brother house, hindi ko siya masyadong nakausap. Parang na-starstruck ako. Nahiya ako sa kanya. Talagang paborito ko kasi si Ma’am Sharon mulang nung dalaga pa siya hanggang ngayon.”
The loveteam of Melason is one of the ‘most-requested’ guests in Sharon. The show has been receiving an overwhelming number of emails and text asking for the two’s guesting. When Melai knew about it, she only had this to say, “Ang masasabi ko lang po sa mga naghihintay po, maghintay lang po kayo! Dahil ito na po kami! Sobrang happy po namin talaga dahil nag-request pala kayo.”
“Graduation Na!” is this Sunday’s theme. Aside from Melason, other special guests include Goin Bulilit graduates na sina Miles Ocampo, Mikylla Ramirez, Jane Oineza, John Manalo, CJ Navatos and Yong-An Chu; PBB Double Up’s ‘C4 Boys’ Johan, Paul Jake, Jason and Tibo; Erik Santos; and popular comedian and Showtime judge Vice Ganda.
Watch out for Melai and Jason’s funfilled but romantic rendition of Robin and Sharon’s “Maging Sino Ka Man” in the only musical variety Sunday night show “kung saan lagi kang kasama,” Sharon, 9:30pm, after Pilipinas Got Talent on ABS-CBN.
