Michael "Big Mike" Lynche received the lowest number of votes during the Results Show of American Idol but the judges used their one-time power to save on him.

The young dad performed “Eleanor Rigby” during the performance show (CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO) and he received positive reviews from the judges except Simon. Randy Jackson thought his performance could be a joint on the radio. Ellen DeGeneres thought it was incredible. Kara thought his vocals were amazing. Simon Cowell didn’t like it because it sounded like in the musicals.

Aaron Kelly and Andrew Garcia joined Michael in the bottom three. Both were safe, Michael should have been eliminated but the judges saved him after his compelling performance of “This Woman’s Work” (his past hit). Consequently, two contestants will be eliminated next week.
