Gay Rumor Haunts PDA Boys
It is somewhat inevitable that at least one contestant in a reality show will be inflicted with the gender issue. For examples, Sam Milby in PBB season 1, Victor Basa in PBB Celebrity Edition season 2, Nel in PBB season 2, Joaqui Mendoza and Aldred Gatchalian in PBB Teen Edition season 1 and who could ever forget Rustom Padilla‘s “coming-out” drama in PBB Celebrity Edition season 1?
On Pinoy Dream Academy season 2, 5 boys are in the line of fire. Gay rumors are now abounding pointing fingers to the remaining PDA boys namely Bugoy Bugayon, Van Pojas, Hansen Nicholds, Iñaki Ting and Miguel Mendoza.
Recently expelled scholar Apple Abarquez, having 7 gay moms, was asked if who among the pda boys are gays. Apple singled out Van Pojas saying the Cebuano heartthrob is NOT gay. Apple and Van have the same manager in Cebu and she knows Van for a long time already.
When asked, “how about Hansen and Bugoy?”
The Different Couples’ Daughter replied, “Si Bugoy, siya na po ang sasagot doon…kasi I cannot say anything for him. I didn’t know him while I was growing up. Yung kay Hansen, he also has to say something about that for himself. I’m close with Van, but not with the other two.”
Another expelled scholar, Bea Muñoz, was directly asked if her former boyfriend Miguel Mendoza is gay.
Bea denied the reports. “Kung sinuman ang nagsasabing bading siya doesn’t really know him. We’ve been on for three years and I’ve seen anything in him that would make me suspect na gay siya. Matagal din niya akong niligawan and I’d say our relationship is an open one, both romantic and platonic. We’re here to support each other and we both have dreams to pursue in life na siyang mas priority namin. And contrary to what some people think, we didn’t break up. Kami pa rin kahit we’re far apart now.”
Luckily for Iñaki, the gender issue about him isn’t as strong as the rest of the guys.
