The ABS-CBN noontime show Wowowee was able to defend its no. 1 position in the NUTAM daytime race as it topped the weekdays nationwide ratings by an average of 21.9% for the month of May. 2nd to Wowowee is Roxanne Guinoo's "Ligaw na Bulaklak".

In the weekend daytime race nationwide, the boxing special De La Hoya vs. Forbes: Homecoming of ABS-CBN registered 23.2% beating the Saturday edition of Wowowee.
