Beauty queens of Miss Earth 2007 walked in bare feet on hot sand, cleared up the beach and planted trees at the Vinpearl tourist site this morning, October 31. In the early morning, 30 girls toured around Vinpearl resort in tuk tuk. After that they changed clothes, took photos at the resort’s swimming pool and went shopping at some souvenir shops.

The Italian girl bought a Vietnamese non la (palm-leaf conical hat), said: “It is very lovely, both cool and keeps one shaded from the sun.”

Chinese, British and French girls carefully looked at handmade bags.

After shopping, they changed clothes, took rubbish clips and bags to clean a section of beach under blazing sunlight. They also carried plates with slogans: let’s walk, ride a bicycle, don’t discharge waste.

At the Gala Dinner tonight, an ao dai that Vietnamese representative Truc Diem wore in the Philippines will be auctioned for charity.

Famous singers and dancers of Vietnam like Ho Ngoc Ha, Anh Khoa, AC&M, New Sun, Duc Tuan, and Hien Thuc will go to Nha Trang soon to prepare for the November 1 night.
