After a full recap of this week's performances, the final 20 sang Joy to the World. Akala ko yung Christmas song buti na lang hindi.
Ryan Seacrest called the first half of the top 10 boys: Phil Stacey, Chris Sligh, Sundance Head and Blake Lewis. He called Jared Cotter, took him up to the podium, but he's safe. Then he called Nick Pedro to tell him that he was eliminated. Nick sang his last song.
Ryan called the first half of the girls: Stephanie Edwards, Gina Glocksen, Sabrina Sloan, Melinda Doolittle, and the last was Alaina Alexander and Ryan declared that Alaina is going home. Alaina got a little emotional she had difficulty singing her last song. Even Sundance shed tears from the sidelines.
Ex-American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler performed a country song sporting a short curly hair and a whole lot of cleavage i thought she's making a tribute to Anna Nicole Smith.
Ryan called the remaining guys. Chris Richardson stays. Brandon Rogers safe. He called Sanjaya and AJ to the front of the stage. AJ Tabaldo is going home and Sanjaya gets to stay another week.
Ryan called the remaining girls. Lakisha Jones and Haley Scarnato are safe. He called Antonella, Leslie and Jordin in the middle of the stage. Antonella safe. America likes slutty pictures (and where'd that came from?). Jordin Sparks is safe while Leslie Hunt is going home.
