Director Joey Reyes had his turn once again of his hard-hitting critiques for the remaining scholars and the major casualties are Eman, Chad and (mostly) Ronnie. 

With Eman, he pointed out about his getting thinner as the days go by. "Kung hindi ka nakakulong sa Academy iisipin ng tao Adik ka", Joey Reyes declared. He criticized Eman's tendency "na tumitirik ang mata habang kumakanta" which contributes a lot with his addict looks. Eman's song tonight is "Higher" by Creed and he needs to pull this off without looking tired.

"Chad is a very lucky guy", Joey Reyes said because the judges and the audience don't seem to care about his flats and poor intonation because it's overpowered by his tough guy personality.

Chad’s opposite is Ronnie who is lacking in personality so to speak. Ronnie’s being lashed week after week for having un-expressive eyes. Although the judges and the audience have no problem with his voice, but they seemed to be having trouble in connecting to Ronnie—the eyes and the lacking of personality were blamed. Does it mean the reason why Ronnie always receives the most number of votes from the people is because of his good looks and has nothing to do with his performance? Tonight, Ronnie’s song is Babaero by Randy Santiago and the song needs a lot of personality to boot. Can Ronnie bring the personality out this time?  

Irish Fullerton, another endangered scholar, is doing a Zsa Zsa Padilla classic “Hiram“. Direk Joey pointed out her eyebags are getting bigger and bigger. He also hinted Irish on how best to attack the song and where she can pull the emotions the song demands. We shall see tonight.

Lastly, it’s Panky, the 4th endangered scholar who was nominated for the first time was criticized by Direk Joey for losing her identity last week. Although the song choice was in her element, Panky was not able to bring out the personality needed for the song. Panky’s song choice tonight is Elvis Presley‘s “Trouble” which is expected to bring her back to the game. But if you will ask me, i think the song and how great it is for Panky can’t save her tonight. She’s the most endangered among the probationary scholars because of her “un-people persona”. This affects her chances of getting enough votes from the televiewers. And the song is perfect for her because among the 4, she’s the one who is really in “trouble.”
