Ratings: Atlantika vs Maging Sino Ka Man and Why GMA Ratings are Falling
After the storm 'Milenyo' hit Metro Manila, it looks like one of the casualties is GMA 7 because from last week hanggang ngayon, some of its shows' ratings fell like billboards. On the other hand, walang epektong nangyari sa ratings ng ABS CBN, and as a matter of fact, some ABS CBN shows are now on the lead.
ABS CBN shows which managed to take the lead even for a day or two are Wansapanataym, Homeboy, Game Ka Na Ba, Wowowee, Bituing Walang Ningning, TV Patrol, Komiks, ASAP, Your Song among others.
Love Spell ang tuluyang nakapagpatumba sa Love to Love ng GMA 7 which is a consistent topnotcher for 10 seasons.
The Buzz has been the leader in Sunday showbiz oriented talk shows for quite some time now EXCEPT for this Sunday. Dinaig sila ng S-Files because of one obvious reason: ang pag-amin nina Vic Sotto at Pia Guanio ng kanilang relasyon.
Makabawi kaya ang siyete this week and in the weeks to come. It's interesting to note that the two newest shows: Atlantika of GMA 7 and Maging Sino Ka Man of ABS CBN 2 ay nagtapat "head-to-head" starting last Monday. Although hindi malaki ang agwat nila, the ratings favored Atlantika with 27.1% against Maging Sino Ka Man's 25.4%.
