A man from Malawi is claiming that Madonna has adopted his 1-year-old son when she visited the impoverished African country for her projects regarding AIDS orphans. Malawian government officials said last week that the pop icon planned to adopt a Malawian boy but they declined to comment on Yohame Banda’s claim that his son David has been adopted by the singer.

Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg dismissed the statement from Malawian government officials, that she and her husband Guy Ritchie, planned to adopt a boy. Madonna and Ritchie has a 5 year-old son Rocco, and the singer also has a 9-year-old daughter named Lourdes.
