Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda Grace the Cover of Metro Weddings

Newlyweds Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda share exclusive details about their special day in the digital cover of Metro Weddings.

The couple got married last January 6 at Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Pulilan, Bulacan with a classic Filipiniana theme. Maiqui donned a sleek white gown designed by Alex Perry while Robi stunned in a traditional Barong Tagalog by Vin Orias of Orias Manila. The bridesmaids as well embodied the theme in their Filipiniana ensemble designed by Rajo Laurel.

“Maiqui has always been an advocate of local Filipino designers and the arts so, it was just fitting that the wedding theme followed suit. More than anything, Robi and Maiqui’s wedding was a family affair. Two beautiful, very close-knit families coming together, and we wanted the entire evening to highlight that,” event stylist Pat Pastelero Tañedo told Metro.Style.

Meanwhile, the reception was held at the North Polo Club where Robi even hosted his own wedding reception with Ai dela Cruz. OPM icons Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid sang a duet song “Sa Piling Mo” which they dedicated to the newlywed couple while Gary Valenciano accepted Maiqui’s request who wished to see him perform his hit single “Hataw Na” with Gab Valenciano and Darren Espanto.
