100 Asian Sweethearts 2020 – Semifinals
The search for the 100 Asian Sweethearts is on!
We’re looking for the most charismatic young ladies across Asia, 29 years old and below, who made an impact in the region and the world this year. The poll will be held in groups and the winner from each group will vie for the title “Ultimate Asian Sweetheart of 2020.”
Nominate your favorite celebrities now as the semifinal poll begins this Wednesday, December 16. Comment below the name of celebrity and her country to nominate and find out who will make it through the group eliminations.
We are going to have 10 groups of six nominees.
1. South Korea
2. China
3. Japan
4. Philippines
5. Hong Kong and Taiwan
6. Thailand
7. Indonesia
8. India
9. Wildcard A
10. Wildcard B
The winner of each group will advance to the final round and become one step closer to winning the title. There are two wildcard rounds which will consist of any celebrity from any Asian country, and including Asians living in a non-Asian country like the US, UK, etc. We will also select celebrities from the 8 groups who failed to advance but garnered a considerable amount of votes to compete again in our wildcard rounds.
Semi-finals Voting Mechanics – Choose a maximum of 2 celebrities from among the 6 nominees in each group. Each poll will be opened for 5 days after which, the one with the highest total votes will advance to the finals. This is a fan-powered, unlimited poll. After you cast your vote, simply refresh your browser and you will be allowed to vote again. The Wildcard polls, on the other hand, will only last for 3 days.
We will begin the semi-finals with Group South Korea, then China and so on…
