BTS Breaks BLACKPINK’s Premiere Record as ‘Dynamite’ MV Garners 3M+ Concurrent Views

1.65 million concurrent views–this is the YouTube record set by BLACKPINK last June 26 with their monster hit “How You Like That.” This record has been BROKEN by BTS on Friday, August 21, as K-pop boy group’s feel-good music video for “Dynamite” exploded with more than 3 million concurrent views. This is according to YouTube’s live counter with some reports placing the figure to as much as 4 million. While we are waiting for the official record to be announced, it’s undeniable that BTS shattered BLACKPINK‘s record and has even doubled it, more or less.

“Dynamite” is BTS’ second song fully recorded in English, the first was Steve Aoki’s “Waste It On Me” which was released in 2018. Because of its retro/disco theme, the single was also released in cassette and CD formats!

The MV already surpassed 30 million views in 3 hours.
